The Cottage - sleeps 4 + 2

The Cottage has one double bedroom downstairs and a mezzanine with twin beds. There is a bathroom and separate toilet. It has a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. Outside on the shady, south facing terrace is a summer kitchen with a barbeque, where you will probably choose to eat. It also has a private and shady garden.

The cottage has a wood-burning stove making it an ideal place to rent in the early spring and late autumn, when the evenings are not quite so balmy as you might expect, or for long winter lets. A part of the garden is taken up by large pond which, although children find it and its abundant wild life absolutely fascinating it is probably unsuitable for toddlers; but a paradise for 6 to 15 year olds.

The only nightlife in the hamlet is once a year. There is a three day festival for the Fête de St. John on the last weekend in June - music, fireworks, dancing and food. Very noisy, great fun and very French.
